Reimagine Wellness Center
Wellness culture is pervasive in our society. Juice cleanses, detoxes, multi-step routines, expensive supplements, and countless more fixes that promise to solve all your problems. But I just don’t buy it. Too often wellness is packaged as strict routines, perfection, toxic positivity, and rigid rules on how we are supposed to live. I believe this causes more shame than healing. This version of wellness takes a one size fits all approach and that one-size is typically quite narrow. For most people, it does not work. Instead of feeling better. they are left wondering, “What’s wrong with me?”
I invite you to imagine a different version of wellness. A wellness that works for you and honors your story, your relationships, and your values. This version of wellness is messy, human, and deeply personal. I strive to create a space that is centered on healing, authentic growth, and meaningful connections. Not just another set of rules for you to follow.
My work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and empowerment. I view therapy as a space where you don’t have to perform or strive for perfection. Instead, I offer a place to:
Explore what’s weighing on you openly and without judgement
Heal from past experiences that shape how you see yourself and others
Define what it means to care for yourself in a sustainable and compassionate way
Build tools to navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, low self-esteem, or relationship concerns
Let’s work together to make this reimagination a reality. Schedule a consult now.

Amanda Weaver, PsyD.
My journey with psychology started at a very young age. I have always been invested in people and their stories. As a kid, I was often called “nosy” which I have since reclaimed as curious. Over time, that curiosity grew into compassion and respect for the resilience of humans. I consider it an immense privilege to connect with people, sit with them as they share their stories, and walk alongside them as they create the lives they want to live.
I received my doctorate of clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2020. Since 2016, I have worked in schools, community mental health centers, and university counseling centers. Each of these settings has shaped the way I practice today. They taught me to be flexible, inclusive, and meet people where they are. They also deepened my understanding of how systems, structures, and the broader social context impact people and their struggles. I became fully licensed in Colorado in 2021 and opened my own practice in 2022, with the goal of creating a therapy space that feels accessible, affirming, and genuinely supportive.
Even outside of my work, I remain a lover of stories in all forms: books, television, movies, and even reality tv. I also enjoy baking, spending time with my family, and relaxing with my two cats. My husband and I welcomed our first son in March of 2025 and life has been joyfully full ever since. I am originally from the Chicagoland area and enjoy any chance to reconnect with family and friends back home.
